This page is a small collection of reference images gathered as part of ongoing research into the Walter Segal self build method of housing construction.

The intent is practical rather than historical — studying construction techniques, proportions, material choices, and the way these homes sit lightly on their sites.

This research is in preparation for the possibility of building a Segal-style home myself at some point in the future.
